They ain't afraid of no trolls

Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones were on Jimmy Kimmel Live Wednesday night to promote Ghostbusters, and they were joined by some very special guests: Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts and Bill Murray.

The whole show was a Ghostbusters special, with no other guests and numerous Ghostbusters segments. But the highlight was when the two casts gathered around and got down to the Ghostbusters theme song performed by Jimmy Kimmel's house band Cleto and the Cletones and special ghost Ray Parker Jr., the Ghostbusters theme song composer.

During the panel discussion after the performance, Murray said he approved of this Ghostbusters reboot while so many others failed "because I knew these girls were funny." An endorsement from internet dude hero Bill Murray won't silence the vocal minority of men mad about women taking over Ghostbusters, but it should.

Anyway, the dance to the Ghostbusters theme was a nice passing-of-the-torch moment, but it's not the best televised Ghostbusters dance. Not even close.
