First Look: Mira Sorvino Joins Falling Skies

Get ready for a gun-toting, wisecracking Mira Sorvino. The Oscar winner joins TNT's Falling Skies this summer for a multiepisode arc as Sara, who seems to be the perfect match for bad boy John Pope (Colin Cunningham).

"She's a ballsy, brash woman with a complicated past. She proves to be a worthy foil — and ultimately a love interest — for Pope," says executive producer David Eick. "They have a classic love-hate dynamic."

Sara survived the alien invasion on an isolated farm, and, like everyone, says Eick, "she has her secrets, weaknesses, hypocrisies and vulnerabilities." Our advice? Pope should watch his tattooed back.
