What to Stream the Weekend of January 12

Spending the weekend indoors and not sure what to watch? TV Guide's Editor-in-Chief Mickey O'Connor has a few suggestions. Here's what you should stream this weekend.

1. My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman

In his first regular gig since The Late Show, David Letterman will engage in meaningful conversations with individuals he finds truly fascinating. The interviews will take place both inside a studio and out in the world, and feature field segments related to his guests. Barack Obama is slated for the first episode, which premieres Friday, Jan. 12 on Netflix. Other guests set to sit down with Letterman include George Clooney, Malala Yousafzai, Jay-Z, Tina Fey and Howard Stern.

2. Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams

This exciting anthology consists of 10 standalone episodes based on different works by legendary sci-fi author Philip K. Dick. This marks his second collaboration with Amazon after the alternate history drama The Man in the High Castle. The series' all-star lineup includes Bryan Cranston, Liam Cunningham, Anna Paquin, Steve Buscemi, Vera Farmiga, Richard Madden, Janelle Monáe, Terrence Howard and Maura Tierney. It heads to Amazon on Friday, Jan. 12.

3. The Polka King

This Jack Black-fronted comedy follows the story of Pennsylvania polka legend Jan Lewan who conned his elderly fans out of their hard-earned cash, landing him in jail. The series is based on the documentary The Man Who Would Be Polka King from directors Joshua Brown and John Mikulak. Alongside Black, it also stars Jenny Slate, Jason Schwartzman, Jacki Weaver, JB Smoove and Vanessa Bayer. Catch it on Netflix starting Friday, Jan. 12.

4. Marvel's Runaways

After the season finale, catch up on the acclaimed Marvel series about a group of teens who unite to stop their evil parents from sacrificing more innocents. They also have to deal with the growing pains of their newly-discovered powers as well as the troubles that arise with adolescence. The show was just renewed for Season 2 and stars Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano, Annie Wersching, James Marsters and Julian McMahon. Stream the entire first season now on Hulu.
