The Perfectionists Adds Descendants Alum Sofia Carson

The Perfectionists pilot is finally getting some new blood.

Freeform announced today that Descendants alum Sofia Carson has joined the cast of The Perfectionists, and her character sounds like she could be fast friends with Alison (Sasha Pieterse) and/or Mona (Janel Parrish). Carson will play Ava, a beautiful trendsetting blogger and coder who strives to be a fashion icon.

It's nice to know that even though Aria (Lucy Hale) won't be gracing our screens on The Perfectionists, we'll still likely get our weekly dose of fashion-forward footwear and accessories with this new character, Ava.

It's exciting to finally start populating this new world with new characters, but we're still eagerly awaiting news on male casting for the show. Marlene King has said that there will be a more evenly divided mix of male and female characters in The Perfectionists, so lets get some boys up in here already!

Sofia Carson is also set to appear in the new season of Famous in Loveas Sloane, the daughter of a movie mogul,who becomes entwined with Paige Townsen (Bella Thorne) and her friends.
