The 100 Season 6: Bellamy and Clarke Will Team Up as Leaders Again

Bellamy (Bob Morley) and Clarke (Eliza Taylor) went through some serious sh-- on The 100 last season. Fortunately, the damage done to their relationship wasn't irreparable, and the pair will find a way to forgive each other and team up again to lead their people into this new world. After, of course, they talk some things out.

"This season starts with a little bit of a reckoning of some of the things that they went through last year, especially from Clarke's side of things. She left Bellamy to die and things like that," creator Jason Rothenberg told TV Guide. "So they'll definitely deal with that, but I think they both turn the page and figure out a way to be together on the same page. That's when good things happen."

While Morley acknowledged the show's tendency to pull Bellamy and Clarke apart, he said that when Season 6 picks up "the only way now is to start healing, that kind of emotional healing and building relationships back up."

Added Taylor: "I think they definitely are kind of pairing up again as the leaders, which is cool."

The 100 Season 6: Everything We Know So Far

Bellamy and Clarke likely won't have too long to dwell on their pasts with their new responsibilities as leaders quickly taking priority, starting with having to break the news to everyone that it's been over 100 years and they aren't going to return to Earth. "They're basically having to wake people from cryo-sleep and catch them up to watch happened and basically very lightly explain to them that we're on an entirely different planet and that Monty and Harper are gone," teased Taylor.

But after their experiences with the Grounders, Mountain Men, Eligius prisoners and so many other factions ended so bloodily, Bellamy and Clarke are determined not to make the same mistakes again when they approach the new civilizations awaiting them on their new home.

"They do try to approach it differently," Rothenberg said. "Monty at the end of last season in his sort of dying wish told them to be better, to be the good guys, and they're going to try and do that. They're really going to try and live up to that."

With Bellamy and Clarke by each other's sides, we have faith they'll be able to do just that.
