NBC Pulls the Plug on Its Coach Revival
At least Craig T. Nelson has more time for The Incredibles 2
If you were looking forward to more Coach, unfortunately, NBC has decided to cancel its revival of the '80s sitcom, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The new series was intended to pick up 18 years after the show's original finale in 1997. Craig T. Nelson's Coach Hayden Fox would have been asked to come out of retirement to become the assistant coach to his grown son at an Ivy League school kicking off a new team (pun intended).
Sources said that the project was not going well and had not attracted much optimism as production was just beginning.
