Jason Alexander is joining the cast of Fox's upcoming comedy The Grinder.

The Seinfeldalum will play Cliff Beamis, an egomaniacal tough-guy who is the writer/creator of the series' show-within-a-show.

The Grinder stars Rob Lowe as an actor who played a lawyer on a TV show called The Grinder for eight years, and decides that he wants to become a real attorney, much to the chagrin of his polar-opposite brother (Fred Savage), a real lawyer. Got all that?
