Downton Abbey's Hugh Bonneville Joins ABC's Musical Galavant

Downton Abbeystar Hugh Bonneville will guest-star on ABC's upcoming fairy-tale musical Galavant, TVLine.com reports.

Galavant stars Joshua Sasse as the titular hero on a quest for revenge against the king (Psych's Timothy Omundson) who stole his one true love (Mallory Jansen). Bonneville will play Peter the Pillager, a pirate king whom Galavant crosses paths with. John Stamos was previously cast as a knight who will meet Galavant on the jousting field.

Executive-produced by Dan Fogelman, Galavant will premiere in 2015 during the gap after the first half of Once Upon a Time's fourth season.
