It's tradition: On the day before the Academy Award nominations are announced, honoring the best movies of the year, the Razzie nominations are released, forever bestowing infamy on the worst movies. This year, Fifty Shades of Grey, Pixels, Jupiter Ascending, and Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 lead the pack for 2015's lowlights, with six nominations apiece.

Fifty Shades of Grey earned nominations for Worst Picture, Worst Actor (Jamie Dornan), Worst Actress (Dakota Johnson), Worst Director (Sam Taylor-Johnson), Worst Screen Combo, and Worst Screenplay. Perennial Razzie contender Adam Sandler also had a typically strong showing, with two of his movies, Pixels and The Cobbler, earning nods. Oddly, The Ridiculous Six, which currently has a 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, received a pass. Sandler's pal Kevin James also earned nominations for two movies, mostly for Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, but also Worst Supporting Actor for Pixels.
