Death suits Dan Stevens.
After being killed off Downton Abbey, the 30-year-old British actor has lost 30 pounds. But don't worry, it wasn't due to grief. "I've lost about 30 pound since New Year, which, in British terms, is about two or three chins," Stevens said on The Graham Norton Show, adding that he lost the weight for a role.
Did Downton Abbey got too far? Why we're angry with the Season 3 finale
In the Season 3 finale of Downton Abbey, Stevens' character Matthew Crawley died in a car accident on the way home to Downton after he and wife Mary (Michelle Dockery) welcomed a newborn son.
"It was my decision [to leave Downton Abbey]," he noted. "A very difficult one too, but it felt like the right thing to do. It was good to trust my instincts and go with it."
