There's so much new TV coming out that we don't have time to go back to the classics, but we'll make an exception for this one: Designing Women, the iconic female-fronted CBS comedy, will finally stream, Hulu announced today at the Television Critics Association summer press tour. It will appear on the service on Monday, Aug. 26, which is not-so-coincidentally Women's Equality Day.

Designing Women ran for seven seasons on CBS from 1986 to 1993, where it spent much of its time in a comedy block with Murphy Brown. The series starred Delta Burke, Dixie Carter, Annie Potts, and Jean Smart, who played characters who all worked in an interior design firm with a lone man, played by Meshach Taylor.

Though nominated for 18 Emmys, it only walked up to the podium once in 1988 for Outstanding Hairstyling. As of late last year, ABC was working on a Designing Women sequel with new characters in a similar premise, but the network has not announced further plans on the project.

Hulu has been a big player in bringing classics to today's audience, streaming shows such as ER, Seinfeld, Cheers, The Golden Girls, and more.
