Box Office: Zootopia Nabs Another Record-Breaking Weekend

Sadly, Sacha Baron Cohen wasn't so lucky

It appears nothing can stop Zootopia. In its second weekend, the Disney animated movie once again topped the box office, earning a whopping $50 million, Box Office Mojo reports.

That brings Zootopia's global gross to $431.3 million after only 10 days in theaters. Approximately $56.5 million of this came from China, where Zootopiaeasily beat Big Hero 6to become the top-grossing animated Disney film and the third highest-grossing animated movie of all time.

And though it couldn't compete with Zootopia, J.J. Abrams' horror film 10 Cloverfield Lane enjoyed a solid first weekend, earning $25 million. Deadpoolstayed in third place with $10.8 million, followed by London Has Fallen with $10.7 million.

In its second week, the Tina Fey comedy Whiskey Tango Foxtrot took fifth position with $4.6 million, beating debut films The Perfect Match ($4.2 million),The Young Messiah ($3.4 million) and Sacha Baron Cohen's The Brothers Grimsby, which flopped with just $3.2 million.

Gods of Egypt ($2.5 million) and Risen ($2.3 million) rounded out the top 10.
