Awkwardis nearing the beginning of the end, and no one is sadder about it than star Ashley Rickards.
"This show, in a sense, was my college years," Rickards says in the video above.
While chatting about the MTV series' fifth -- and seemingly final -- season, the actress got emotional about saying goodbye to her character Jenna and her longtime castmates.

"It's been such a permanent facet of my life for the past five years and now I'm going into this place after we finish filming [where] it's not going to be there and it's going to be interesting and it's going to be scary," she says. "I'm going to miss this show a lot, I'm going to miss everybody, and I'm going to give them killer wrap gifts. This show is the end of an era in my life too, and I'm excited for our fans to see that and for our fans to share that with us."
